WAVE (Western's All Volunteer Effort)

WAVE (Western's All Volunteer Effort) is a student-run organization dedicated to volunteerism. We plan and organize service opportunities for students as well as promote external opportunities for students to give back to the community. 

The purpose of W.A.V.E. is:

1. To be a resource and provide students the opportunity for community service and volunteerism. To serve and interact with the community and to gain personal rewards through their efforts to serve the community in which they live.
2. To work together in an effort to improve the quality of life for diverse populations.
3. To enhance the development of interpersonal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
4. To give the opportunity to participate in experiences related to the students’ fields of study and future career goals.
