WIRC Victim Services Crisis Intervention Class

Earn a certificate as a crisis line worker! Help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault by taking our 24/7 crisis hotline. Sept. 2, 2025 sign up meeting and complete paperwork at WIRC. Sept. 2-22 complete online DV course and SA Self-directed learning modules on your own. Sept. 23 - Nov 4 in-person class at our agency. Once completed, you are eligible to be a crisis worker in any crisis agency in Illinois. Free if you commit to being a crisis line worker with us for 6 months. Otherwise, cost is $100. Shifts can be counted towards volunteer hours for some classes. Deadline to sign up is Sept 2. In-person classes are Tues and Thursday's from 5-8 pm. Email Angela to sign up and get more information.
