Western Illinois University Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program engages individuals in short-term service learning experiences that challenge the social, political, and economic structures of our global community.
The Alternative Spring Break trip will be a 6-day, 5-night trip occurring from March 9th to March 14th, 2025. These dates include travel time to and from Memphis, TN. This experience is designed to be a hands-on opportunity for students to learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them. This year we are partnering with Living Lands and Waters! Students will also participate in nightly group discussions and reflection activities. To be eligible, students must be currently enrolled at WIU through the duration of the program, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0.

More Information: There are 4 payment dates that must be fulfilled or payment must be made in full. The dates will be determined at a later date. Students must be able to pay the full amount, $450, of the trip by February 21, 2025.
