Who We Are

Horn Field Campus is a multi-purpose resource utilized by the WIU campus, community, and region. It serves WIU's mission of education, research and service and is a self-revenue generating entity. It is used for classes, field trips, workshops, retreats, special events, and community building activities.

What We Do

We maintain a 90-acre field campus for WIU. Tasks include, but are not limited to, landscaping, cutting invasives, chopping wood, clearing and mulching trails, picking up trash, and other various and seasonal outdoor tasks, and also cleaning, sweeping, mopping the cabins and lodge.
